The Center for Orthodontic Training Seminars
Established in 1995, The Center for Orthodontic Training Seminars (COTS) is the leading and the biggest study group in the Philippines specializing in orthodontic and other specialty preceptorship programs. COTS is the only training center providing graduate school curriculum and is composed of university faculty member lecturers.
COTS has been providing on-ground quality education nationwide and expanded to offering online courses to cater students worldwide. Now, COTS has 6,000+ competent graduates and counting. Accredited with the International Association of Orthodontists (IAO), COTS graduates are allowed to become members of this international body.
Our promise is to provide students with an education that is the closest to an MSD Degree. We make sure that once a student finishes our course, he/she will be confident to begin diagnosis and treatment planning. Aside from this, COTS graduates enjoy the privilege of a lifetime membership, free mentorship, and consultation for their actual cases and continuous education.
About our Founder
Dr. Federico M. Nadela, Jr.
COTS is founded by Federico M. Nadela, Jr. ,DMD, CProfOrtho, a graduate of the University of the Philippines Postgraduate School of Orthodontics. He underwent a two-year master’s program in Orthodontics, qualifying him to practice as well as teach Orthodontics. Doctor Nadela has been an orthodontic practitioner for 35 years and a university professor in the Philippines since 1987. He has taught over 6,000+ graduates since 1995 and understands their specific needs for updated education on the latest techniques in the orthodontic field. He was the one who brought the latest state of the art techniques here in the Philippines such as self-ligation, Damon method, TATS, Ortho Mini and airway orthodontics.
Dr. Nadela is also the chairman and professor at Manila Central University Graduate School of Orthodontics and Associate Professor of University of the East Graduate School of Orthodontics.
